KEEP EVERY SHORTCUT ITERATION HONEST.
Connect Shortcut to Menza and ask about stories, epics, iterations and objectives in plain English — what's blocked, what slipped, whether the iteration is on track. Menza reads live through the official Shortcut API, and when housekeeping is needed it can update stories for you, with every change waiting on your approval.

What can Menza do with Shortcut?
Tidy the backlog on your say-so
Ask for stories untouched in 90 days. Menza proposes the clean-up — archive the dead ones, relabel the strays, move the rest to the right epic — and applies it once you approve.
Spot iteration risk before the review
Ask what's still open with three days left, which stories are blocked and by whom, and how scope changed since the iteration started — while there's still time to react.
Report on epics without the trawl
Ask how each epic is progressing against its objective — stories done, in flight and unstarted, by team — and get the status update your stakeholders want, drawn from live data.

Menza working with Shortcut.
Menza doesn't just answer questions about Shortcut — it proposes the fix and, once you approve, does the work. You stay in control; nothing changes until you say go.
Menzajust now8 stories in the current iteration are blocked — 5 of them for more than 4 days. I'll move the two with no owner to next iteration and flag the three waiting on the same API dependency.
Menza6m ago42% of this iteration's points were added after it started — your highest mid-sprint scope creep this quarter. I'll label the added stories 'scope-add' so the retro can see exactly what landed mid-iteration.

Shortcut questions, answered.
How does Menza connect to Shortcut?
You connect with a Shortcut API token. It's encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI, and used only to call the official Shortcut API. Generate the token in Shortcut's settings, paste it once, and start asking.
What can Menza answer about my Shortcut data?
Anything the API exposes: stories, epics, iterations, objectives, workflows, members and teams. Ask what's blocked right now, how much scope was added mid-iteration, which epics are behind their objectives, or who has the heaviest load.
Is my Shortcut data safe with Menza?
Yes. Your token is encrypted, never exposed to the AI, and access follows the token's permissions. Menza can update stories — but only after proposing the change and getting your explicit approval, so nothing in your workspace moves without you seeing it first.
Can Menza run our stand-up summary?
Ask each morning and Menza summarises what changed: stories completed, newly blocked work, and anything that slipped out of the iteration overnight. It also flags notable shifts proactively, so the stand-up starts with answers rather than status archaeology.
